Consulting: Deputy Director Rothlein retired as the #2 highest ranking officer in the Miami-Dade Police Department. During his Career, he commanded the Training Bureau, the Narcotics Bureau, the Professional Compliance Bureau, and the Intracoastal Police District. He was the Chief of the Criminal Investigations Division and in charge of all investigative functions for the department. He provides consultation to law enforcement agencies concerning internal investigations as well as other police policy and management issues

Training: Deputy Director Rothlein has conducted hundreds of training seminars throughout the nation concerning the investigation and the prevention of police misconduct. He is an instructor for the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Southern Police Institute, and the Public Agency Training Council.
